Hairless Mice Have Been Used in Studies for Over 100 Years
Hairless mice have been used for research in laboratories for several years. As is seen in the picture, the hairless mouse has a human ear growing on its back, which is one of the studies it has been used for so far, and an example of this was done as far back as the 1900s.
This is not the only research done with the hairless mice breed. The hairless breed is also used in many studies. Besides that, its species also exist in the feeder and pet populations. That means that they are not completely useless. If they are not for consumption, they are good for laboratory research work.
