A ladybug covered in dew
Ladybugs are the cutest insects, followed by butterflies. This ladybug, for example, is sitting on a twig or stem of a plant, and it’s covered by morning dew. The most incredible thing in this picture is that the drops have stayed perfectly on the spotted carapace’s surface instead of splashing away.
Compared to other images in this compilation, this one isn’t that bad. Although we think this red and black insect looks beautiful, some people with entomophobia may find it oddly terrifying. If you see it from an inventive perspective, the dewdrops may resemble blisters, making the ladybug seem otherworldly. It does require some imagination, though.
