Count Dracula from Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992)
The 1992 film Bram Stoker’s Dracula follows the story of Vlad the Impaler, later known as Count Dracula, who had just returned from his victory against the Ottoman Empire. Unfortunately, he finds out that his wife has committed suicide after she got a false report that he has been killed. The priest doesn’t help when he tells Vlad that his wife is burning in hell for committing suicide.
Vlad is rightly enraged by this news and goes to desecrate the temple and renounces God. He stabs the chapel stone cross and drinks the blood that pours from it. With these actions, he damns his soul and becomes a vampire.
