Ruth Bancroft Garden & Nursery
The Ruth Bancroft Garden and Nursery is a 3.5-acre garden with succulents and drought-resistant plants. Ruth Bancroft founded the garden, which is now open to the public.
The garden is located in Walnut Creek, California, and contains more than 2,000 cactus, succulents, and shrubs native to California, Mexico, Chile, South Africa, and Australia. In 1989, it became the first garden in the United States to be preserved by The Garden Conservancy and is open to the public for a fee of $10.
