Yoyogi Park
Yoyogi Park is located at Yoyogikamizonocho, Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, adjacent to Harajuku Station and Meiji Shrine. The park is a popular destination in Tokyo and is busy and crowded on Sundays as Japanese rock music fans, jugglers, comedians, martial arts clubs, cosplayers, and other groups gather.
The Yoyogi Park garden stands where the first successful powered aircraft flight in Japan took place by Captain Yoshitoshi Tokugawa in 1910. Thousands of people visit the park in spring as the cherry blossom tree sprouts during hanami. They also visit the park to enjoy the picnic areas, bike paths, cycle rentals, and even public sports courts.
