Sanssouci Park
Sanssouci Park is a large park surrounding Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, Germany, and was built under Frederick the Great in the mid-1700s. Its unique greenhouse had numerous nurseries of oranges, melons, peaches, and bananas. The park has a vineyard and a baroque flower garden with lawns, flower beds, hedges, and trees.
Sanssouci Park was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1990 for its unique architectural unity and use of 18th and 19th-century landscaping. The garden was also expanded, and more buildings were created. Another amazing feature of the garden are fountains surrounded by marble statues. It is a must-see for nature and design lovers.
