Some fences in London are made from World War II medical stretchers
When visiting London, tourists who are interested in history will find remnants of World War II in an unlikely place that probably don’t ever get a second glance from passersby. We’re talking about the fences, which have a historical secret hidden behind them.

Most people don’t know, but the fences around many London properties are actually made with upcycled medical stretchers left over from World War II. They can be recognized because they’re made of black wired mesh and still have curved handholds. Most people, whether Londoners or tourists, would never guess this.
