The Pando forest stands out from the rest
Forests are lovely gifts from nature. They’re more than collections of trees; they provide homes to hundreds of animal species while enhancing our quality of life and eliminating carbon dioxide from the air. However, the Pando forest stands out from the rest.
It might not seem like it at first glance, but the forest comprises more than 47,000 genetically identical quaking aspen trees. They all stem from a single root system that has been growing for at least 80,000 years.
