Billy Joel never sells tickets to the front rows of his concerts for a good reason
More often than not, the front row seats at a rock and roll concert belong to the wealthy, who have more than enough money to afford them. Of course, that means many fans will never have the chance to enjoy a show from up close, in front of the stage.

Because of that, Billy Joel decided that he’d never sell front-row tickets. He prefers to send his road crew to look for people in the worst seats and bring them up front to the center of the stage. That way, everyone can enjoy his concerts equally.
