It’s possible to fail at murder, assassination, and suicide on the same day
We’ve all had those days when we wake up on the wrong foot. We make mistakes repeatedly, and it feels like things couldn’t get any worse. Well, we think that’s what happened to one of the men sent to kill Archduke Franz Ferdinand back in 1914.
First, the poor guy threw a bomb and failed. Since his mission didn’t go as planned, he tried to kill himself by taking a cyanide pill and jumping into a river. Unfortunately, that plan didn’t work out, either. So, it ended up that his day was a complete failure.
