Charlie Brown’s holiday special about the overcommercialization of Christmas had too many commercials
The comic strip and TV show Peanuts has captivated viewers since 1950 because of its unique philosophy. Even in Charlie Brown’s holiday special about Christmas, the memorable animated series invited people to think critically about serious problems of the time.

This episode talked about how the overcommercialization of Christmas has ruined the true meaning of the holiday. Although it sounds like a great message everyone should learn from, ABC didn’t care about it as they decided to cut scenes from the special to allow more commercials. This is very ironic.
