Reduce This Summer’s Electricity Bill With These Energy-Saving Tips

December 13, 2024 by Shelley Thompson

Are you team summer or team winter? If you love the Christmas spirit in December but despise the heat in June, there are some things about summer that everybody loves. The extra sunlight hours make days out more fun, and the warm nights make a perfect occasion for friends and family to gather for a barbecue. However, we won’t pretend that the heat has no downsides, mainly that it drives up the electricity bill. Struggling to decrease costs on the A/C bill when there’s a heat wave? Here a few tips to save energy and dough so you can enjoy your summer without worries!

Change air filters regularly

Does your house feel stuffy and hot in the summer? Well, don’t blame your A/C just yet. If your home has an “HVAC” or Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems built in, the air filters could be causing the problem.
