The spines on a tiger’s tongue are sharp enough to lick skin clean off of muscle
Tigers are one of the scariest animals in the world. These large felines terrify both children and adults because of their sharped claws and pointy fangs. Yet something we did not know that could be scary is its tongue. Apparently, according to the user ofme0619, a tiger’s tongue is sharp enough to lick skin clean off of muscle.
Tigers are native to Asia. These animals, just like house cats and other felines in nature, have structures in their tounges known as papillae that give them a rough texture. These can help felines groom themselves, but tigers also use them to strip flesh right off the bone of their prey.
