Test Your Nerves With These Risky Situations

July 1, 2025 by Shelley Thompson

There are many moments and experiences in life that can cause people to feel extremely nervous, especially for those who often take risks. For some, testing their nerves is exciting, so putting themselves in life-endangering situations, like jumping out of a plane with a parachute, is considered a fun experience. For others, this would be considered disturbing. Another example would be sailing out on a boat in the middle of a storm or watching a loved one do something that could end in disaster, like taking an unnecessary risk to get the perfect Instagram photo. Again, for some, these instances would be considered exciting and fun while for others, a nightmare. Below is a series of hazardous situations that will, for sure, get your heart racing. Lights, camera, action. Let the chills begin.

Never leave a glass on the edge of a table

If you’re the kind of person that needs everything to be in the right place, a Marie Kondo (the world’s most well-known organizing consultant) type of person, please try not to get upset by the following image. We know what you must be thinking: never put a glass on the edge of a table; it’s a recipe for disaster.

It seems that the people in the picture were unaware of the position of the glass. It would only take a second for that peaceful dinner to end in chaos. Imagine the mess: a million tiny pieces of glass spread all over the floor or, what’s worst, the carpet.
