Cow udders and earthquakes
If any animal could study meteorology and never be wrong, it would be the cows. They change their behavior when rain is about to come. They usually are grouped on the ground to conserve body heat and keep their food dry under them, that is, the grass.
Also, apparently, in the days before an earthquake happens, cows have a period where they make much less milk than normal. So, in addition to technology, we could say that they are in charge of letting us know that a possible catastrophe is approaching. Thank you very much, cows!
