Planetary Rings of Light
These cosmic light displays on different planets are called auroras, as shown in the image below. They are formed from solar winds that interact with the magnetic field and the gases around each planet.
These look like images straight out of a sci-fi movie. As hard as it may be to believe, they are entirely real. These auroras form a ring of light that can be seen on earth and observed at altitudes between 100km and 500km. They are seen more frequently at the earth’s magnetic poles, including the Scandinavian coast, northern Greenland, Siberia, Antarctica, and Alaska.
