A Contaminated Palm
This isn’t some pre-school painting project. This is the palm of an eight-year-old boy after playing outside. It was viewed under a microscope, and you can clearly see the bacteria activity. Millions of bacteria form from touching public swings and slides or falling and touching the ground. It is no cause for alarm, though. With some good scrubbing, disinfectant soap, and clean water, you can wash these right off.
This does not mean you shouldn’t let your kids play outside but instead encourage proper hygiene. Ensure that they wash their hands after playing and always have a hand sanitizer. Kids will be kids, but you should do your part to ensure they remain healthy.
