They got two letters wrong, and now instead of accepting cash, they are “excepting cash”

Sometimes, our brain tricks us when we speak, and we end up saying things we didn’t mean because pronunciation can be difficult. We sometimes forget prepositions or confuse words. But when we are writing it down, it’s different, right? When writing, the thinking process is different, and we have more time to correct our mistakes.

Well, it’s not like that for everyone. Some people make more mistakes in writing. Like the person who was in charge of this sign. Are they making an exception for cash? Wouldn’t it be best for them to receive the money? Obviously, what they meant to write was “accept.” We hope the customers understood that!
