Yellow Douglas-fir Borer
Do not be fooled by its appearance, this is not an ant. The Yellow Douglas Fir Borer is a member of the beetle family. Unfortunately, they do not sing. They are named this because they feed on the Douglas fir trees, which are evergreen trees commonly used in making windows, doors, and other furniture.

The image captured by Donald Jusa gives us a clear view of its long horns, bold eyes, and textured body. This is definitely a makeover because this glam looks nothing like the insect in real life, or maybe it does; we just can’t see it clearly enough because they are so small. What do you think?
