The Dendera Temple complex in Egypt is extremely well-preserved
The Ancient Egyptian Temple complex of Dendera is a gathering of several temples dedicated to different deities. The one in this picture is the Hathor temple, the site’s main building. The original structure dates back to around 2030 and 1650 BC, but the building that survives today is from the Ptolemaic period.

The existing structure was constructed in July 54 BC, and it is a perfect example of Ptolemaic Egyptian art. There are even depictions of Cleopatra VI and her son Ptolemy, fathered by Julius Caesar. Additions and remodelings date up to the time of Roman emperor Trajan.
