These antique books were found in a Goodwill store
People have found extraordinary objects for cheap by scouring through charity shops. As the saying goes: “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” This seems to be relatively true when it comes to Goodwill stores. Take this person, for example, who found two antique books at their local second-hand shop.
The one on the right is a school book about Greek mythology, and the one on the left is a collection of letters by Pliny the younger, a famous Ancient Roman lawyer, author, and magistrate. Pliny’s letters provided invaluable testimony about several key happenings of Roman times. Both books date back to the 1700s.
