Keep your brain engaged
Your brain is like a muscle: you must use it or lose it. You can engage in numerous activities to keep your brain in shape, such as crossword puzzles or Sudoku, playing cards or chess, or assembling a jigsaw puzzle. Consider it brain cross-training!
Many activities can give your brain an equally good workout. And try to avoid excessive TV viewing because it is a passive activity that does little to stimulate your brain. Read books you have always wanted to read or take an online course to learn something new.
