There are massive coral reefs in the water
Corals are marine invertebrates animals that sometimes feed on plankton but eat mainly algae. Bermuda’s coral reefs are some of the largest reefs in North Atlantic, as the environment provides the perfect ground for breeding. The nearby Gulf Stream keeps the water around Bermuda warm and clean, promoting growth.
The coral reefs here have remained healthy despite winter as the water temperature falls below the level that corals ideally need. They can be found along the continental shelf and menace to ships and boats.
