Electrification
According to the International Energy Agency, transportation accounted for about 24% of global greenhouse gas emissions from fuel combustion in 2019. Isn’t this percentage striking? Most people think so, which is why scientists are working hard to impose electric vehicle use.
However, electric vehicles are just the beginning. In Europe, countries will try to apply electrification to cars, industries, and buildings to reduce energy-related carbon dioxide emissions by 90% by 2050. Let’s hope they can achieve it!
