Clabber is a colonial version of yogurt
Some foods would still be around today if they had had better marketing. Clabber is one of those cases. Its name sounds kind of gross, and the way it looks does not help either. But if you keep on reading, you will see that it is not as different from the yogurt we all know and love.
You could say that clabber is a type of cheese, but it is more similar to yogurt. Both of these foods go through the same process. You can get them by simply fermenting milk. But in fact, it is much easier to make clabber at home since it only requires milk and salt.
