Belle Starr: The Bandit Queen
Born in 1848 in America, Belle Starr’s original name was Myra Maybelle Shirley Reed Starr. Considered one of the best, if not the best female thieves in history, Starr was a close member of the James-Younger Gang who was a bunch of outlaws whose quest for more money was satiated by robberies and murder.
They say, “Birds of the same feathers flock together.” For this reason, Starr ended up marrying a thief called Jim Reed. As they honeymooned, stealing and plundering, Starr was shot to death by someone still unknown, just two days before her birthday.
