Anne Bonny: The Pirate of the Caribbean
In the early 18th century, pirates used to scavenge the lands and seas for their treasures and scrape every bit of valuables they could. Interestingly, one of the most feared pirates of that era was a woman, Anne Bonny, an Irish-American thief who was born around 1697.
Being one of the treasures of the captain of their ship, Bonny was the perfect epitome of beauty with brains. Eventually, when the pirates were caught, Captain John Rackman, her lover, was hanged to death while she was imprisoned.
