Francois Villon: ‘Robbed’ one’s heart with his poetry
Most of you might think that the most famous thieves made a name for themselves and got popular after they committed vicious robberies or made millions by stealing. However, Francois Villon was on the other side of the spectrum.
A celebrated poet, Villon’s poetry continues to thrill French poets. Having made a name for himself with his poems back in the 15th century, Villon’s “Le Testament” is a collection of his poems. He was soon banished after he was convicted of robbing a chapel in Paris.
