The Grand Canyon Pales In Comparison To Ocean Canyons
Don’t get us wrong; the gorgeous Grand Canyon is a beauty to behold. With an estimated 1,218.32 acres, the Grand Canyon can hold about 1-2 quadrillion gallons of water! But even if you poured the earth’s water inside, it would be only half full.
As great as the Grand Canyon sounds, it pales compared to the Zhemchug Canyon. The Zhemchug Canyon is located in the Bering sea. It has a vertical relief of 8,250 feet. This is almost 2500 feet deeper than the Grand Canyon.
