There are Three Million Shipwrecks In The Ocean
Whether we are talking of the Titanic or Columbus Santa Maria, the ocean floor isn’t devoid of wrecked ships. According to researchers, there are about three million shipwrecks in the ocean. The figures date back to when human beings started traveling by sea.
Some of the oldest shipwrecks include 10,000-year-old canoes, while the newest are 21st-century shipwrecks. Some ships are known, while a smaller portion has yet to be explored. Some ships that sank between the 18th and early 20th centuries contained precious cargo.
