Pressure at the Bottom of The Ocean Will Crush You Like a Bug
The bottom of the ocean is a dangerous place. Whether you are talking about hot water or pressurized water, there is no end to the dangers at the bottom of the sea. In the Mariana Trench, 35,802 feet below the surface, the water pressure is about eight tons per square inch.
If you ever got to that level below the sea surface, it would feel like you were holding up 50 jumbo jets. That is not a pressure that should be exerted on any human body.
