The story of an entire family who has 6 fingers on each hand
This Brazilian family is undoubtedly one of the most unusual in the world, as each member was born with 12 fingers. This occurred as a result of a hereditary genetic condition known as polydactyly, which is a deformity characterized by the presence of additional fingers on one’s hand.
This condition can be present in three different hand parts: in the middle, which is the least common, close to the thumb, also known as thumb duplication, and next to the pinky, which is the most usual. Polydactyly typically only affects one hand or foot, not both.
