USS Speigel Grove is not for beginner divers
The USS Spiegel Grove is often a diver’s favorite wreck to dive in and probably the most intimidating too. Experts say that the descent in the Spiegel Grove is not for a beginner diver. So before visiting it, you must practice a little.
The Spiegel Grove was named after President Rutherford B. Hayes’s Ohio estate, and it was sunk in 2002 in 130 feet of water near Dixie Shoals in Key Largo. She lies face down on the seabed, leaving her bow protruding slightly from the ocean and her stern resting on the ocean floor.
