An island on top of a ship
The times of war have been unfortunate, but they have left us with many incredible lessons and stories, and here we will share one of them that you may not know. It is an event that occurred during the Second World War.
This warship was the HNLMS Abraham Crijnssen, a minesweeper from the Netherlands who had to escape the Japanese. For this, the crew decided to cut trees and branches from the nearby islands and cover the ship with them until it looked like a small island. The camouflage worked perfectly, and the vessel was able to escape successfully.
