A Few Gifts For the Techy in Your Life

May 11, 2025 by Shelley Thompson

‘Tis the season for gift buying, and this task can be pretty daunting for a lot of us. While we can’t help you cross everybody off your list, we can help you with the tech-lover! We’ve compiled a little list of gifts that we think any and every tech-lover will enjoy. Let’s get started.

Belkin Boost Charge Stand

Something a tech lover can never get enough of? Chargers. We love this stand because it can easily sit on any type of tabletop, including a desk, of course, it’s compatible with a number of devices, and for super easy access to electronics, while they’re charging, this charger can do its thing in portrait or landscape mode. (buy here!)

Review: “I bought one for me, then after I used it, I immediately one for my wife, and then one for my daughter. No more plugging in charging cords! Plus it charges in portrait and landscape. After reading about those other overcharging devices, I’m glad I got one I can trust.” – Amazon customer, Dan

Apple Air Tag

We’ve been pretty obsessed with the Air Tag since it came out, mostly because there are a TON of uses for it, but it’s also at a pretty sweet price point, making it a great little gift or stocking stuffer for the techy in your life! (Or for the person that just constantly loses things.) When we say this can be used on anything, we mean it; even kids! (Okay, so Apple actually suggests other devices for actual children, but it’s not out of the question!) (buy here!)

Review: “I absolutely love these Airtags (I have 6). For anyone already in the Apple ecosystem, they’re outstanding at helping to find lost items.” – Amazon customer, Robin

Amazon 4th Gen Echo Dot

For just around $50, you can nab the newest Echo Dot, which is basically just an at-home assistant. Well, to a certain extent anyway. Even you aren’t really feeling this newest version, you can snag the 3rd generation for just $24.99! (buy here!)

Review: “Much smaller than expected but the sound is phenomenal. I have almost every single version of the Echo and Echo dot in my house for an easy-to-use Spotify music setup to surround my upstairs with music but this little orb is the best sounding of the lot. Highly recommended and a great improvement over the Dot. I hope that Amazon keeps this style for a while.” – Amazon customer, Minifig

Nintendo Switch OLED

We aren’t sure who wouldn’t be pretty pumped about getting this for the holidays. The Nintendo Switch OLED features a vibrant 7-inch OLED screen, a wide adjustable stand, a dock with a wired LAN port, 64 GB of internal storage, and enhanced audio. (buy here!)

Review: “Having had the Original Switch then the Lite, now this.. all those doubters. It’s sooooooo worth it! That screen quality, the enhanced sound, the full metal kickstand with firm precision adjustment that has feel and resistance, the feel and build quality just feels so much more premium, the lush piano glass like black gloss trim omg, oh and the dock is pure delish same with this glass piano gloss black on the inside, still not chancing it scratching my prestigious new screen. Must upgrade and by in my opinion.” – Verified Amazon customer
